Cafe Mogador in Brossard brings a slice of Morocco to the South Shore with a cozy, homey atmosphere that invites visitors to slow down and savor authentic flavors. This full-service Moroccan restaurant feels less like a formal dining spot and more like a gathering place where family and friends might come together over breakfast or a comforting dinner.

Located on Boul Milan, the restaurant’s interior features warm tones and touches of traditional decor that enhance the experience, making it a comfortable spot for those new to Moroccan cuisine as well as enthusiasts. It’s the kind of place where the owner’s welcoming presence sets the tone for a meal that leans into homemade recipes handed down through generations.

The menu showcases some classic Moroccan dishes worth exploring. Breakfast is a quiet highlight here, with options like Msemen Nature with Butter and Honey or fluffy Baghrir pancakes, often paired with strong, sweet Thé Chaud. For heartier meals, traditional plates such as Tajine aux Poulet et Olives, Couscous au Veau, and Pastilla aux Fruits de Mer bring depth and a touch of richness that reflect Morocco’s culinary heritage. Portions tend to be moderate, encouraging a leisurely pace rather than a rushed meal.

This spot tends to attract those looking for an authentic, comforting Moroccan dining experience without the tourist hype — locals who appreciate genuine flavors, a quiet chat over tea, and an environment that feels less like a restaurant and more like someone's kitchen table. Weekday mornings might be the best time to experience the breakfast offerings, while evenings offer a chance to sit down over well-prepared tajines or couscous in a relaxed, inviting setting.

Whether you’re venturing into Moroccan cuisine for the first time or seeking a steady, low-key place to reconnect with flavors from home, Cafe Mogador provides a grounded, friendly atmosphere that reflects its neighborhood well without pretense.

Low-key moroccan spot in brossard. The owner is very nice and the spot is very homey. It feels like a place for gathering and eating a good breakfast with tea. The prices are ok but the portions are a bit small. The food tastes great tho.

I recently had my very first Moroccan restaurant experience here in Canada, and I’m still thinking about it! From the moment I walked in, I was transported by the warm ambiance, traditional decor, and welcoming hospitality. If you’ve never had Moroccan cuisine before, this is the perfect place to start. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

My first Moroccan restaurant experience in Canada. It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very cozy. It feels like you are at home with the family. The food is homemade. There is a great variety of Moroccan food in the menu. I had pastilla, bakoula, and Attay. I am planning for other visits to try the Tajines and the breakfast.

Wow!! Amazing place. This is not our first time here, and we drive 1 hour every time to come here. This is probably the best authentic restaurant in Montrea GA. Real moroccan food that is just the way it is done at home. It looks like a family business, and the people here are just the sweetest. This place made me fall in love with Moroccan food and the moroccan culture. It is a must try place. If it weren't a long drive from Laval, we would be having 3 meals a day here, especially that now they have breakfast open buffet..

The best Moroccan breakfast you’ll find with the nicest owner! He provided excellent service and gave us complementary beghrir. We took the Formule Gourmet Marocaine and everything was delicious. Will definitely come back!
